Decent for the price, but one glaring issue

Overall is a decent helmet for the price. The aesthetics and comfort are good, the chin strap design is quite good, and I've experienced no fogging with the face shield.

One major issue I've encountered, however, is that the face shield doesn't lock at all and is only held shut by friction. This has resulted in the face shield being ripped open while turning my head to check my blind spot on the highway. This is very jarring and requires me to immediately take a hand off the handlebars to close it, which is especially bad if you're merging or changing lanes at the time. I consider this to create a safety risk, which in my opinion is the opposite effect a helmet should have.

Aside from this, this helmet lacks the ECE 22.06 certification. This isn't a surprise, as the standard is new, but buyers should be aware that helmets certified to ECE 22.06 have to undergo a wider array of tests and meet better safety standards. However, I do appreciate that the manufacturer of this helmet differentiates in the description to make this clear to the buyer. This likely makes it better than many helmets that are just DOT approved, but ECE 22.06 is preferred.
